2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid
2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid
Nissan estimates the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid SR at 6.2 L/100 km combined, and it reaches that figure with a hybrid layout that works differently from most. This all-new Rogue uses e-POWER: a 1.5 L turbocharged engine produces electricity, and only the electric motors drive the wheels. Two motors mean all-wheel drive is standard, and total system output is 225 horsepower. Nissan describes it as the only hybrid in its class with a 100% electric drivetrain. The package also includes a new exterior design, an updated ProPILOT Assist, physical climate controls and a rear seat with five LATCH anchors. For drivers covering long stretches of Highway 97 and Highway 16 around Prince George, the system needs no charging and fills up at any gas station. Northland Nissan expects the SR in fall 2026 in limited quantities, and the SV, SV Premium and Platinum in early 2027.
What's new on the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid?
Exterior
The new Rogue Hybrid is shaped around clean, bold and sporty lines and a wide stance. Its front end is defined by a geometric fascia, a hexagonal honeycomb grille and LED headlights set into the grille surround. Available signature lamps carry the hexagon pattern and sit in groups of two and three, echoing ni and san in the Nissan name. Ground clearance is 214 mm (8.4 in) on SV and 215 mm (8.5 in) on SR and Platinum, with a 19.5-degree approach angle and an 18.4-degree breakover angle. Lower body trim is finished in gloss black on SR and Platinum.
Length is 4,650 mm, width is 1,850 mm and height is 1,720 mm. Sharp-edged fenders contrast with smooth, sculpted body sides, and the C-pillar's upswept beltline forms a triangle modelled on Mount Fuji. SV models wear 18-inch dark painted alloys, while SR and Platinum run 19-inch dark painted, machine-finished wheels. Heated, power-adjustable side mirrors are standard on all trims, with integrated LED turn signals on SR and Platinum. At the rear, an available full-width LED tail light spans the liftgate. Paint choices include three new colours, such as Alpine Metallic.
Interior
Long drives put the focus on comfort and simple controls. The Rogue Hybrid keeps physical buttons for climate temperature, fan speed and airflow, so adjustments do not require digging through screens. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard. Soft-touch materials and stitching fill the cabin, with matte surfaces where hands make the most contact. Platinum adds heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a head-up display and quilted leatherette upholstery. The under-console storage compartment has a larger opening than before for bags or other items.
Each Rogue Hybrid carries five passengers. Zero Gravity seats, standard up front and at the rear outboard positions, are designed to reduce fatigue on extended trips. Front legroom is 1,054 mm, and rear legroom is 920 mm. The rear doors open nearly 90 degrees for easier loading, and five LATCH anchors give flexibility for up to three child seats. Cargo space measures 880.7 L with the second row upright and 1,866.1 L with it folded, with four floor-mounted tie-down hooks and a cargo light. Acoustic laminated glass and improved door seals help reduce cabin noise.
Technology
Entertainment
Standard infotainment includes a 12.3-inch NissanConnect touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming and voice recognition. SR and Platinum move up to a 14.3-inch display with Google built-in for Google Maps, Google Assistant, the Play Store and Google Gemini, plus a 14.3-inch digital driver display. Two front USB-C ports and two rear charge-only USB-C ports keep devices powered, and a Qi2 wireless pad is available. Platinum adds two Qi2 pads and a Bose 10-speaker audio system.
Safety
Every trim includes ProPILOT Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian, Cyclist and Intersection Assist, Blind Spot Warning and Intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist and Intelligent Driver Alertness. ProPILOT Assist now looks an extra second down the road and has 12% more steering authority, which helps it work more naturally on sharper curves. SR and Platinum add Hands-off Traffic Jam Support, Auto Lane Change, Rear Automatic Braking and ProPILOT Emergency Stop with e-call. The 3D Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor, also on those grades, helps spot curbs and objects around the vehicle.
Powertrain
Two AC synchronous electric motors handle propulsion. The front motor makes 202 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, and the rear motor makes 134 horsepower and 144 lb-ft, giving 225 horsepower of total system output. Standard dual-motor all-wheel drive continuously adjusts torque front to rear. The drive mode selector includes Off-Road and Snow settings for gravel and snow-covered roads across northern British Columbia, plus Standard, Eco, Sport and Personal. One-pedal driving with e-Pedal and Smooth Stop braking are standard. Towing capacity is 680 kg (1,500 lbs) when properly equipped.
